Psalm 23:3
“He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.”

In the familiar Psalm of David, we’re reminded to not fear, even when we’re walking through the darkest of valleys. After a scary year of lockdowns, disease, loss, and uncertainty, it’s exciting that the world is starting to open back up again.
But it’s natural to have a little bit of fear along with that excitement, especially as we all adjust to this “new normal”. Of course, getting back into travel is a big part of that, after being stuck at home for so long.
God wants us to explore His creation though—finding renewal in the beauty of all that he has made. Travel is the perfect way to do that, and God will always be there to guide you through new territory.
Proverbs 3:23
“Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble.”

Deuteronomy 2:7
“The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.”

Deuteronomy is about a long, tough journey that ended with the promise of hope and wellness for God’s people.
And just like He did with Moses and the Israelites, God will be watching over your travels too, ensuring that you have everything you need. Whether that’s time to relax and renew your soul on the beach or protection on your camping trip, God’s got you.
Ezra 8:21
“There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions.“
